3. A man does not want to deal with your self esteem issues. He just wants you settled.

It is a common thing of Kenyan relationship to whither off and all the blames showered to the men. Reasons? The ladies have low self esteem and they want the men to cope. No! Kenyan men don’t want it. They want a smooth relationship. But where does the rain start beating our girls? It all begins with the media and the stage (adolescence) where beauty is defined. The media emphasizes difficult standards of beauty or attractive appearance.

Here are the Red Hot signs of low self esteem in women

First, she always calls and calls and calls. This is one sign that she is worried you will see other women who are “better.” This simply translates to the fact that she does not value herself. So how does the call go? She always wants to know where you are, what you are doing, who you are hanging out with, and worse still, the call ends with “…baby I love you.” When it ends that way, she means she wants you to tell her the same! She is simply ensuring and confirming that you are not seeing other women.

Second, the relationship has more tears than joys. She always gets hurt over small things that don’t count. If you don’t accompany her to the salon because she wants you to, then she breaks down in tears. Reason? “I know you are ashamed of me.”

Third, a woman who has low self esteem sticks like SuperGlue. Whatever happens, she will want to stay. She is the type who can trap you and blackmail you to remain with her forever. She can endure all sorts of things just to remain with you. Tell her you played her, she will fume but say she forgave you. Why? Because she can’t afford to throw tantrums and boycott so that you make up. She does it right and there.
